Abbot's Way is a specialist day school set to open in September currently undergoing registration with the DFE.
A fresh, forward thinking independent specialist day school, for students with dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. Situated in the historic Somerset village of Meare, our school enjoys stunning, panoramic views of the Mendip hills and indeed the ancient Abbot’s Way track across the Somerset Levels, symbolising the pathway between two islands.

Special School
We hold a passion for specialist education and the highest aspiration for our students. Highest quality, holistic provision enables students to gain individually tailored support for their specific learning differences, in order to excel and achieve their personal potential, both academic and pastoral.
Students with specific learning differences are exceptional young people, with immense 'brilliance' and talent. They deserve the very best education where strengths are recognised and challenges are expertly understood and supported so that a student is not held back, but accelerated toward their potential.
Our team of outstanding professionals work in harmony to discover, foster and develop young peoples’ strengths, enabling them to gain the self-belief and self-esteem they require, in order to flourish, thrive and learn.
